a mean meadow pirate

Disguising itself as a vine, the dragon coiled his way up the stem and looked out over the meadow. He was a mean meadow pirate, wary of garter snakes and lawnmowers, and desperate to eat all the strawberries hidden in the lawn before the children came and gobbled them up.
