The platypus pixie flower is a rare hybrid of pixie and plant. They feed upon starlight and firefly gloamings and tend to be shy, but if you tread softly upon their lands they might just grant you a wish or two for fun.

Disguising itself as a vine, the dragon coiled his way up the stem and looked out over the meadow. He was a mean meadow pirate, wary of garter snakes and lawnmowers, and desperate to eat all the strawberries hidden in the lawn before the children came and gobbled them up.

Their crowns are awkward and just a little bit big but they wear them with pride, for they are future blueberries and that is a wonderful thing to be, to find…and to eat.

She hid behind the tire and waited. Soon someone wandered by and she pounced, laughing gleefully at the woman’s horrified screams. She could do this all day.

The rosy maple moth became a nature monk and took a vow of silence. He trained in the natural arts and spent much of his time clinging to windows and contemplating the mysteries of reflection.
